In 2016, I was a graduate student looking to earn income in a way that would be enjoyable and fit around my course schedule. Poker was the perfect solution, and my study habits lifted me to higher stake success. Over the past five years, poker has been my primary source of income, and my main games are currently $5/10 and $10/25 No Limit Hold'em. I have also coached over 150 different students, many of whom have gone on to win major tournaments or substantially increase their hourly rates. I use the lessons from my recent journey to help players forge their own paths while steering them away from pitfalls. Ultimately I want anyone that I work with to improve their decision-making process and play with presence in order to reach their full potential. I offer private coaching (hourly and monthly packages), group coaching, and instructional videos for players at all levels that are looking to improve at No Limit Hold'em. Poker tools like Flopzilla, PioSolver, and PokerSnowie will be used for lessons and hand reviews as needed. HUD Analysis You will receive a HUD analysis report and a follow-up one-hour Zoom presentation to explain the findings. Popular HUDs like PokerTracker and Holdem Manager allow for data exports of excel files that you can email to me. Ideally, you will submit a data sample of 10,000 poker hands or more. Additional coaching can be scheduled to help implement the necessary adjustments. Session Analysis Receive a detailed presentation of your choice with an in-depth analysis of five hands that you played and found challenging or had questions about. Choose whether to receive the analysis by written report or video recording. Deluxe Monthly Package Work with Coach Joel for a month and receive text and email support during normal business hours in addition to scheduled Zoom sessions. This is the fastest way to reach your poker goals. Includes 5 one-hour Zoom sessions, text/email support throughout the month, the choice between a HUD Analysis or Session Analysis (HUD is for online players and Session Analysis is for live), and the option for Coach Joel to be a silent observer for one of your online poker sessions before giving feedback.
