  • Rake %: The percentage of the pot that is taken as rake by the poker room.
  • Rake cap: The maximum amount of rake that can be charged on the pot.

Example of Call EV calculation

If the opponent pushes all-in for $100 into a $100 pot, making the total pot $200, and you assess your hand equity as 40% against this range, with a 5% rake capped at $5, the calculator will show that this call will be +$15 profitable.
